Lithistone is expanding operations
A 9,800 square foot manufacturing facility and Design Center is under way north of the Denver metro area. Lithistone will continue manufacturing custom work in the Durango facility, although the headquarters will be positioning itself on Colorado's Front Range.
Our projected grand opening will be in October 2008 at the new facility.

Custom Home on the Project Boards
Lithistone and Forward Dwellings are combining resources to build the first ever hybrid Rammed Earth/Lithistone custom spec home in 2009. This green building landmark project will infuse Lithistone slip cast techniques and insulated earthen wall systems. The 2,200 square foot home will be situated on a beautiful mountain parcel northwest of Boulder, Colorado. Stay tuned for additional information and project renderings.

Lithistone to release EtchGuard sealing system
After eight years of searching for the holy grail of sealers to protect Lithistone from acid etching, the answer is here. Through lab testing and brand new, cutting edge technology, the Lithistone EtchGuard (a zero VOC, non-epoxy, non-silicon, non-urethane, non-acrylic, non-solvent) system is set to be integrated into all product lines as either a honed or satin finish.
